Synchronicity ~ The Language of Spirit

“I do believe in an everyday sort of magic -- the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone.” ~ Charles de Lint It is such Divine order, this Life. The way with which the subtleties bring much higher insight than that which we humans generally perceive. It is an awakening of sorts, when you begin to experience these moments of synchronicity, numerous times in each day. These moments mirror the awareness of Spirit that evolves as we walk the path of re-connection to Universal Intelligence. It is difficult to explain in the spoken (or, in this case, typed) word. A concept that one must experience to truly understand. And I can bet that you have experienced these communications from Spirit, commonly referred to as "coincidences", in high frequency. In a society largely built and based on the desires of the human mind, many will shrug off these moments of "coincidence" in order to stay focused on the excessive tasks created by the era of "busy". The term "busy" has become the anecdote for a person admired and a life well-lived. How are you? "I am busy". How are things at work? "So busy." Busy. Busy. Busy. As you can see, we humans are fluent in the language of "busy". So....what happens in the non-busy? What kind of possibilities await us in the "new age" era of inner peace? Doing less? Being more? Fully engaging in our experiences? We can take cues from Nature as to when it is time to rest, time to plant seeds and time to harvest the fruits of our labor. Finding Nature within the Self opens the doors to a union with Spirit and the Divine order of things. Synchronicity shows up as magic in everyday life. That bird feather that appears beneath your feet while thinking about a loved one who is in Spirit realm; that piece of art that catches your eye that reflects and reminds of your deepest hearts desire; the Horse that whinnies at the exact moment that you realize it is time to speak your truth about something you have been holding back; the movie scene that you can feel deep in your heart that reflects back to you the experiences of your own life. These are not coincidences, they are the language of Spirit and they show up for us in the precise moments we need to receive them. There was a time when we lived this way, every day. Allowing Nature to guide us to the paths we would wander and explore. It was through these messages that show up externally and internally that we could find the map to follow in our lives. It was not through the thinking mind, it was through the wisdom of the body and its connection to Universal Intelligence that we would hear the voice of consciousness. Humans are classified as "homo sapiens", homo meaning "genius" and sapien meaning "wise man". So we are not just wise...we are genius wise! What does this really mean? Our ancient wisdom was not defined by our being the "top of the food chain" (a ridiculous concept, in my humble opinion), it was defined by our ability to be caretakers of the Land and its inhabitants. That was our wisdom. That IS our wisdom. We are genius at connection. We are genius at listening. We are genius at providing the most loving care, putting us directly in sync with Nature and her deeply felt reciprocity of nurture and healing. Through our "evolution" as humans, we base a large percentage of our communications on verbal exchange. As we know, there are no other species fluent in this language. However, there is a language that we all speak and that is the language of Spirit. The energetic language that whispers these magical moments of synchronicity. Now, it is up to us, if we are ready to listen, like our ancestors so attentively did, once upon a time. “According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don't bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.” ~ Deepak Chopra The miraculous life awaits when we learn the language of Spirit. With love, Fotini Chandrika
